Cross-tenant access via missing namespace authorization
Published Sep 26, 2022 · Updated May 21, 2025
Authorization bypass in Hitachi Content Platform before 8.3.7 and 9.0.0 through 9.2.2 allows remote authenticated users cross-tenant access. The multitenancy security model fails to enforce tenant authorization when a request identifies another namespace by UUID; Hitachi has not identified the affected request handler. Tenant users can read another tenant's namespace configuration, while tenant administrators can also change that configuration and thereby access its data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=9.0.0 <9.2.3
