Authenticated script execution via unneutralized report fields
Published Apr 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in administration reports in Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager 2020.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject script. Some form fields accept malicious JavaScript without neutralizing it before their values are rendered into administration reports. An authenticated user must submit a crafted field and another user must view the resulting report, enabling script execution in that viewer's application context.
