Stored script execution via unescaped person fields
Published Aug 19, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Local Services Search Engine Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a victim's browser. The add-person.php handler accepts crafted name and address values, stores them, and renders them without neutralizing script markup on view-category-detail.php and single-person-detail.php. Administrative access is required to submit the payload, and execution occurs when another user opens an affected person or category detail page.
