Client-side script execution via unsanitized bundle parameter
Published Aug 30, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Reflected XSS in Acquia Mautic before 3.3.4 or 4.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a password-reset URL. CommonController::delegateView lowercases the bundle query value and passes it as mauticContent without filtering script-significant characters. Exploitation requires a target to open the crafted link, after which the injected script runs in the target's browser under the Mautic origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
