CVE-2021-27908Public exploit

Secret disclosure via Symfony parameter expansion

Published Mar 23, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Information exposure in Acquia Mautic before 3.3.2 allows local users to disclose database credentials through configuration fields. Mautic converts configuration values to Symfony parameters, then expands secret parameter tokens placed in free-text settings when rendering public pages. Administrator access is required to plant the token, after which a visitor can read the expanded secret from affected page output.
