Unauthenticated switch access via bypassable password-change prompt

Hard-coded credentials in Brocade Fabric OS before 8.2.1c or 8.1.2h allow remote attackers to access switches over the network. The factory accounts use the documented password “password,” and affected releases permit the initial-login password-change prompt to be bypassed. Network access to a switch management service is sufficient; successful login grants the privileges assigned to the unchanged default account.
