CVE-2021-27778Network attack vector

Authenticated script execution via unvalidated application name

Published May 31, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Cross-site scripting in HCLSoftware HCL Traveler 12.0.1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access browser data via the Approved Applications Name parameter. The administration page fails to validate that Name value before rendering it, allowing injected JavaScript to execute in an authenticated browser context.
