Account-data interception via missing hostname verification

Improper certificate validation in HCL Verse for Android before 12.0.9 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to intercept account data. During server setup and login, the client accepts a certificate whose hostname does not match the configured server and sends sensitive account traffic through the resulting connection. Exploitation requires a network position capable of transparently proxying the connection while the user completes setup or login; post-login requests were not processed in the reported test.
