Local privilege escalation in HCL BigFix Platform Console 9.5 through 9.5.18 and 10 through 10.0.5 allows local users to gain SYSTEM privileges. A Windows Installer repair of the cached Console MSI performs file operations in the invoking user's temporary directory and executes temporary files as SYSTEM. Any authenticated, unprivileged Windows user who can invoke the repair operation can execute code with full local privileges.
