CVE-2021-27759

Unauthorized sensitive actions via forged browser requests

Published May 6, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Cross-site request forgery in HCL BigFix Inventory 9.x and 10.x allows attackers to trigger sensitive actions through a victim's browser. The application accepts a browser-emitted HTTP request for an arbitrary application URL without verifying that the request was intentional. The attacker must induce an authenticated user to submit the request; HCL has not identified the affected action or its exact consequence.
