User-data modification via missing CSRF validation
Published Nov 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 18, 2024
CSRF in the SOCIFI Guest WiFi SaaS portal allows remote attackers to add or modify user data through a crafted request. The portal accepts state-changing user-data requests without CSRF tokens or request validation, causing a victim's browser to submit them with its active session. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to open attacker-controlled content, and resulting changes are bounded by that user's portal permissions.
