Stored cross-site scripting via unsanitized cID
Published Apr 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Tribal Systems Zenario CMS 8.8.52729 allows remote authenticated users to run script through cID. The admin_boxes.ajax.php component accepts arbitrary HTML from the cID parameter when creating an HTML component without neutralizing it for page generation. Exploitation requires high-privileged access and subsequent victim interaction, and the injected script runs in the victim's browser context.
