CVE-2021-27602Network attack vector

Remote code execution via malicious source rules

Published Apr 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Code injection in SAP Commerce Backoffice versions before 1808, 1811, 1905, 2005, or 2011 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. Authorized users can create source rules that are translated into Drools rules; malicious rule content is injected and executed when published to application modules. The required authorization limits reachability to users granted source-rule creation rights, but successful exploitation compromises application confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
