Cron job modification via unverified cross-origin requests
Published Aug 31, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in EasyCorp ZenTao 12.5.3 allows remote attackers to alter Cron job fields through an administrator's browser. The Cron job update handler accepts a cross-origin XHR submission without verifying an anti-CSRF token or intended request origin. A signed-in administrator must visit attacker-controlled content; the forged request then changes Cron job configuration with that administrator's privileges.
