Authenticated browser script execution via limit parameter
Published Mar 23, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in the DynPG 4.9.2 admin panel allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via a crafted limit parameter. The backendpopup/popup.php endpoint returns the limit value without neutralizing script markup, causing the browser to run injected code. An admin-panel login and victim interaction are required, and execution is confined to the authenticated user's browser context.
