Privileged-session script execution via unneutralized parameters
Published Jun 16, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in ZOLL Defibrillator Dashboard before 2.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in privileged users' browsers. The web application accepts script-bearing parameter values without neutralization and executes them in a higher-privilege user's browser. A low-privilege account is required, and browser-context execution can read or modify data available to the privileged session.
