Unauthenticated SQL injection via RunSearch
Published Mar 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
SQL injection in Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk AssetCentre v10.00 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL statements. The RunSearch function in the SearchService service passes attacker-controlled search input into SQL without adequate neutralization. No authentication is required, so network-reachable attackers can read, modify, or disrupt data reachable by the service account.
