CVE-2021-27446Network attack vector

Root command execution via EasyWeb code injection

Published May 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025

Code injection in EasyWeb V1.1 on Weintek cMT devices allows remote attackers to execute operating-system commands as root. Weintek identifies the unauthenticated EasyWeb web server below version 1.2 as the locus but does not disclose the affected request handler, parameter, or unsafe operation. Exploitation requires network access to the web server and grants complete root-level command execution on the appliance.
