CVE-2021-27438Network attack vector

Unauthorized access via embedded fixed password

Published Mar 25, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Hard-coded credentials in General Electric Reason DR60 firmware before 02A04.1 allow remote authenticated users to gain unauthorized access. The firmware embeds a fixed password for inbound authentication or outbound connections, but public records do not identify the account, service, or code path. Network reachability and low-privilege access are required; published evidence does not further bound the post-authentication actions.
