Unauthenticated code execution via external URL proxying
Published Apr 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 28, 2024
SSRF in Gleez CMS 1.2.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or obtain sensitive information through a crafted URL path. Request::factory passes the path to a constructor whose allow_external parameter defaults to true, causing URLs containing :// to be fetched through cURL. No authentication is required; code execution depends on a reachable service such as PHP-FPM or Redis that accepts a cURL-supported protocol.
