Arbitrary file write via unvalidated ActiveX method

Arbitrary file write in Pelco Digital Sentry Server before 7.19.67 allows remote attackers to overwrite files through a crafted HTML page. The AppendToTextFile method in DSUtility.dll accepts calls from malicious VBScript through its ActiveX interface without validating the caller's origin. A user must open the crafted page in an ActiveX-capable browser, and the resulting file write is limited to that user's permissions.
