Administrative access via hardcoded web credentials
Published Feb 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Hard-coded credentials in FiberHome HG6245D firmware through RP2613 allow remote attackers to obtain administrative web access. The web daemon embeds the admin / 888888 ISP credential and accepts it at the /fh management endpoint instead of requiring a device-specific secret. Reachability to the HTTPS management service is sufficient; successful login exposes privileged management and can enable the CLI Telnet service on port 23.
