Unauthenticated management access via hard-coded credentials
Published Feb 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Hard-coded credentials in the FiberHome HG6245D web daemon through RP2613 allow remote attackers to access the management interface. The webs binary embeds the trueadmin/admintrue pair among its ISP-specific accounts, and the /fh login endpoint accepts those shared values. HTTPS listens on the LAN by default, while absent IPv6 firewall rules can expose the service from the WAN; a successful login can enable CLI Telnet access.
