Administrative access via hardcoded web credentials
Published Feb 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Hardcoded credentials in FiberHome HG6245D firmware through RP2613 allow remote attackers to access the web administration interface. The web daemon embeds an ISP-specific telecomadmin password and accepts it at /fh, granting access to enable the CLI Telnet service. Reachability requires access to the management service, which listens on the LAN by default and is also exposed from the Internet over IPv6 when the documented firewall gap is present.
