Administrative access via hard-coded web credentials
Published Feb 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Use of hard-coded credentials in FiberHome HG6245D firmware through RP2613 allows remote attackers to gain administrative web access. The webs HTTP daemon embeds the ISP account pair admin and lnadmin and accepts it at the /fh management interface instead of requiring device-specific credentials. Reachability is limited to the management service, which listens on the LAN by default but is also exposed from the Internet over unfiltered IPv6; authenticated access can enable the CLI Telnet service.
