CVE-2021-27144Public exploitNetwork attack vector

ISP management access via hard-coded web credentials

Published Feb 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Hard-coded credentials in the FiberHome HG6245D web daemon through RP2613 allow remote attackers to access ISP management functions. The webs binary embeds a shared ISP username and password that the /fh HTTPS login accepts and then exposes the control used to open CLI Telnet access. Reachability requires access to the management web service, which listens on the LAN by default and is also Internet-reachable over IPv6 on the analyzed configuration.
