Credential disclosure via cleartext HTTP logging
Published Feb 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cleartext storage in FiberHome HG6245D through RP2613 allows attackers to read passwords and authentication cookies from HTTP logs. The web daemon writes passwords and authentication cookies without encryption to /fhconf/web_log/web.log. The disclosure identifies no standalone request that exposes this file, so exploitation requires another means of reading the device filesystem.
