Denial of service in Microsoft Windows DNS Server allows remote attackers to interrupt DNS service through network requests. Microsoft has not disclosed the malformed DNS input or the parsing operation that fails. Exploitation requires network reachability to an enabled DNS Server role and can make DNS unavailable without affecting confidentiality or integrity.
