Improper certificate validation in Puppet Remediate before 2.0 allows remote attackers to compromise imported vulnerability data integrity. The Tenable.sc data-source integration fails to properly validate certificates signed by an internal certificate authority. The affected path is present only when Tenable.sc is configured as the vulnerability data source.
