CVE-2021-27005Network attack vector

Unauthenticated httpd crash via undisclosed requests

Published Nov 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Denial of service in affected NetApp ONTAP releases allows remote attackers to crash the httpd server through network requests. NetApp has not disclosed the request form, parser, handler, or faulty operation that causes httpd to terminate. Unauthenticated network reachability to the affected HTTP service is sufficient; the documented consequence is interruption of that web service, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
