Sensitive token disclosure via command-argument logging
Published Apr 23, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Sensitive-data exposure in Automox Agent before 31 allows local users to read site-specific tokens from endpoint log files. The agent records command-line arguments used to install endpoint security tools, including site-specific tokens, in locally readable logs. A locally authenticated account can recover tokens that permit stealthy removal or deprovisioning of endpoint security components.
