Published Feb 17, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in PHPGurukul Car Rental Project 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted image. The changeimage1.php handler accepts executable PHP in the img1 multipart field and stores it in the web-accessible admin/img/vehicleimages directory. The published request carries an active PHP session cookie; requesting the stored file then runs attacker-controlled PHP on the web server.
