Authenticated SQL injection via crafted cid parameter
Published Jul 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Student Record System 4.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through the cid parameter. The edit-course.php endpoint passes crafted cid query-string syntax to MySQL, enabling time-based blind injection through a database sleep operation. Access requires a valid application account; successful exploitation permits database reads or writes and can delay database responses.
