Published Feb 23, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Command injection in ClearPass Policy Manager before 6.9.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands through its web interface. The web-based management interface fails to neutralize attacker-controlled command input, allowing commands to run as root on the underlying appliance operating system. Exploitation requires valid remote management credentials and can provide complete system compromise, including control of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
