Authenticated root command execution via web command injection

OS command injection in Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager before 6.9.5, 6.8.8-HF1, and 6.7.14-HF1 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The web-based management interface passes attacker-controlled input to an operating-system command as root, but HPE has not disclosed the affected endpoint, parameter, or command construction. A valid high-privilege account is required, and successful exploitation grants complete control of the underlying host.
