CVE-2021-26678Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unneutralized management-interface content

Published Feb 23, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Stored XSS in Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager before 6.9.5, 6.8.8-HF1, and 6.7.14-HF1 lets remote attackers run script in an administrator's browser. The web-based management interface stores attacker-supplied content without adequate neutralization and later renders it to an administrative user, but Aruba has not disclosed the affected field or handler. No authentication is required to plant the content, but an administrator must view it; execution is confined to the affected interface's browser context.
