CVE-2021-26614

Unauthenticated command execution via exposed CGI parameters

Published Nov 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Remote code execution in EFM Networks ipTIME C200 firmware 1.058 allows remote attackers to execute shell commands via crafted web requests. The exposed ius_get.cgi service interprets attacker-controlled request parameters as shell commands instead of restricting the dangerous operation. Reachability requires access to the camera's adjacent network, but no authentication or user interaction; exploitation runs commands in the web service's context.
