CVE-2021-26607Network attack vector

Command execution via unchecked browser URL

Published Oct 26, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Command injection in TOBESOFT NEXACRO17 17.1.3.301 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through a crafted URL. The execDefaultBrowser method passes its strUrl argument to ShellExecuteW without validation, allowing non-HTTP(S) values to invoke commands. Exploitation requires user interaction in a Windows NRE application, and resulting commands run with the affected user's privileges.
