Unauthenticated user disclosure via reusable security tokens
Published Mar 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Incorrect access control in ImpressCMS before 1.4.3 allows remote attackers to disclose CMS user information through findusers.php. The endpoint treats any valid security token as authorization, although unauthenticated pages such as misc.php issue those tokens without establishing a user session. Possession of such a token exposes otherwise restricted user-search functionality and associated CMS user information.
