CVE-2021-26579

Local privileged-information disclosure via hard-coded keys

Published Mar 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Hard-coded cryptographic keys in HPE Telco Unified Data Management 1.2009.0 and 1.2101.0 allow local users to disclose privileged information. HPE identifies embedded cryptographic keys as the cause but has not disclosed the affected component, the keys' purpose, or how local users obtain them. Low-privileged local access is required, and the published assessment limits the demonstrated consequence to disclosure without data modification or service interruption.
