CVE-2021-26393

Confidentiality loss via uncleared ASP TEE memory

Published Nov 9, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Insufficient memory cleanup in AMD Ryzen Embedded processor TEE firmware allows local users with privileges to disclose process memory. The ASP TEE fails to clear process memory before reuse, allowing a valid signed Trusted Application to poison it with attacker-controlled data. Exploitation requires privileged authenticated local access and the ability to generate a valid signed Trusted Application; no integrity or availability impact is reported.
