CVE-2021-26377

Service interruption via process-space allocation overflow

Published Sep 6, 2025 · Updated Sep 8, 2025

Integer overflow in AMD Trusted OS on affected processors allows local privileged users to interrupt service through a userspace process. Trusted OS process-space allocation insufficiently validates parameters before calculating the allocation size, permitting the calculation to wrap. Exploitation requires local high privileges and high-complexity input; the documented consequence is availability loss, without confidentiality or integrity impact.
