Improper certificate validation in AMD EPYC SEV firmware allows local authenticated users to interrupt the Platform Security Processor. The SEND_START command fails to sufficiently validate the AMD SEV Signing Key before processing it, which can stop PSP service. Access to the local SEV command interface is required; no confidentiality or integrity impact is reported.
