Cross-site request forgery in Apache MyFaces Core 2.2.0 through 2.2.13 allows remote attackers to trigger unwanted application actions. MyfacesConfig generated implicit and explicit CSRF session tokens with predictable random values instead of SecureRandom values, allowing future tokens to be calculated. Exploitation requires tricking a user into submitting a crafted request; the resulting impact is unauthorized application actions, with exploitation described as difficult.
