Unauthenticated admin access via username SQL injection
Published Feb 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in the CASAP Automated Enrollment System 1.0 login panel allows remote attackers to bypass authentication and access the admin panel. The login.php endpoint builds its authentication query from an unneutralized username, allowing injected SQL logic to satisfy the login condition. No credentials or user interaction are required; successful exploitation establishes an administrator session with access to dashboard.php.
