CVE-2021-26105Network attack vector

Authenticated code execution via profile parser overflow

Published Mar 24, 2025 · Updated Mar 31, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in Fortinet FortiSandbox 3.1.4 and earlier and 3.2.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The profile parser fails to enforce the destination stack buffer's bounds while processing crafted HTTP request data. A valid account and a specially crafted request are required; successful exploitation executes unauthorized code or commands and can interrupt the appliance.
