CVE-2021-26067Network attack vector

Unauthenticated path disclosure via chart error response

Published Jan 28, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Sensitive data exposure in Atlassian Bamboo before 7.2.2 allows remote attackers to disclose server paths through the /chart endpoint. A filename query sent to /chart causes Bamboo to return a stack trace that exposes the Bamboo home-directory path and reveals whether named files exist in the temporary directory. No authentication or user interaction is required; the bounded impact is disclosure of filesystem layout and file-existence information.
