Service interruption via malformed LLDP PortID TLV
Published May 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Integer underflow in userdisk/vport_lldpd in Moxa VPort 06EC-2V firmware 1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to interrupt camera service. The LLDP daemon fails to validate a crafted PortID TLV before processing it, causing an integer underflow when the packet is parsed. Network access capable of delivering the crafted LLDP packet is required; successful exploitation makes the camera unavailable.
