Stored script execution via unsanitized profile fields
Published Jul 23, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Online Doctor Appointment System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via profile text fields. The Update Profile module stores First Name, Last Name, and Address values without neutralizing script markup, which executes on later page visits. A doctor account is required to save the payload, and a later visit to an affected page triggers code in the visitor's browser context.
