Authenticated SQL injection via Edit Article id parameter
Published Dec 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Taocms v2.5Beta5 allows remote authenticated users to obtain or alter database data via the Edit Article function. The admin.php action=cms endpoint accepts an article id parameter that can be modified with a Boolean condition, producing a blind SQL injection response. Column-administrator authentication is required, and the demonstrated impact is database confidentiality and integrity compromise with possible service disruption.
